Support for Refugees
When we (The Braeded Chord) traveled to Beirut this summer, we were touched by the stories of the staff of Heart for Lebanon (many of them refugees themselves) so we brought their stories home in song. Their reality is much harsher than these lyrics could portray, but we hope that this song will give insight to their struggle and move us all to compassion. We are making available an audio download of our latest song “Another Winter in Beirut (A Refugee’s Lament)” with proceeds going to help refugee families through Heart for Lebanon .

BCP Exhibit at ALCM National
Look for the BCP Exhibit at the ALCM National in Minneapolis, MN. From Sunday, July 9 to Wednesday, July 12 our table will have music for sale. Everything from our catalog will be represented, so you can either buy copies at the conference or go to our website to download and get permission to copy. On Monday at 11:45, there will be a demonstration/read-thru of selections from the Alleluia communion setting. Tuesday, “O Tiny Child” and “O Come O Come Emmanuel” are included in the Multi-publisher Choral Reading Session (Chapel of Westminster). New products for this conference include a new unison setting for Psalm 80 (Restore Us O God), a choral arrangement of “Follow the Cross”, an instrumental arrangement of “We Three Kings” (piano and guitar) and Volume One of the BCP Songbook, which includes all the free lead sheets from our website AND all the unison Psalm lead sheets. Great for solo or corporate singing and includes permission to copy. If you can’t come to the gathering this year, you can check out all our products on line at the Store where you can preview and listen to audio samples before purchase.
