Aloha Honolulu!
We’re in beautiful Honolulu Hawaii Sept. 6-19 at the invitation of the Calvary By the Sea Lutheran Church. We can hardly wait to present on one of our passions, Intergenerational Worship, as part of the Hawaii ALCM regional workshop. We’ll be making music in several places, thanks to the efforts of our concert agent Katherine Crosier (Doris’ sister!) who will also be hosting us in her beautiful apartment in the sky. Making sure we don’t get too sunburned, she’s lined up the following schedule:
Sept. 8, 8:30-4 Calvary By the Sea Lutheran Church, Honolulu Workshop Presenters (Session 2, 10:30-noon)
Sept. 9, 7:30 and 10 am Sunday Services @ Calvary By the Sea
Sept. 13, 6pm Jazz Vespers @ St Peter’s Episcopal Church (soup dinner included!)
Sept. 14, 11-noon Concert @ Arcadia Retirement Home
Sept. 14, 6-7pm Concert @ St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church
Sept. 16, 8 am Sunday Service @ Lutheran Church of Honolulu
Sept. 16, 9:30 Sunday Service @ United Church of Christ
Pictures to come!

Drumroll
Drum roll: This week, Sharon and I finished writing the Evening Prayer Service which will be presented this July at the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians conference (Region 4) in California. Yippee! Now it goes to the editors. We are SO excited to be at this stage—and feel very good about the music.
On Monday, we’ll be joining Tom Saputo and Friends at the Signature Theater located at 4200 Campbell Avenue in Arlington, VA. “This is Our Song” is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, with all ticket sales going towards this worthy organization. Come help us help the ACS! Email saputo_events@msn.com for tickets and information.
Join our fans on Jango Radio – it’s fun and it’s free, and gives you access to all genres of music. “Nice harmonies…. And a great message”
Buzz… we’ve received so many great comments about our recent photos! They were taken by the very talented Aaro Keipi, whose wonderful work you can access thru the link below. We wish him well on his upcoming move back to his native Finland, and look forward to our next photo shoot when he returns in the fall!
