Music for All

Sharon Dennis and Doris Au MacDonald, composers of the BCP music, are releasing all published music for free. “God has given us this music, we are only the channels for getting it to everyone else,” says MacDonald. Now, if a church, organization or individual wants to use the leadsheets, accompaniments, choral/ensemble works or instrumental arrangements, all that’s necessary is to either contact the composers or download free from this website’s Store tab. Of course, if you prefer a ready-made product, you can also pay to receive it, cost + shipping.

New for 2023 is a Lessons and Carols package, using all BCP music.

Under Construction

We’re currently updating the Store and Resources sections of this website, so you may see changes from day to day. One of the main changes is our pricing, making it more clear how to order music from single to multiple copies. We hope it will make your search easier!

We’re adding some new products, including even more singable Psalm settings and choral arrangements of BCP compositions. There are more lead sheets under the Resources tab.

Here’s where we’re different from other online music companies: we allow you to preview the ENTIRE piece before purchase rather than just showing you a snippet, to give you more of the experience of being in a brick and mortar store. When we’re done, you will be able to see the music and hear how it sounds. And we also try to accommodate our customer’s requests, whether it’s for something in a different key, the addition or deletion of parts, or change in instrumentation. This year we had requests to write violin and mandolin parts, add harmony to our Alleluia communion setting, and even change a choral work into an instrumental one. BCP Can Do!

BCP Open for Business!

Welcome to the new Braeded Chord Productions Website, now open for business! New features include the ability to purchase either physical or downloadable products—you can either order printed music or CDs which will be shipped to your address, or instantly download them and print/listen to them without delay!

Upcoming products include a new CD by The Braeded Chord, “Long Awaited King,” to hit the airwaves by November. This features music for advent and Christmas, and is a mixture of old and new, traditional and originals, all done in a variety of styles to keep the listener engaged. Also in the works is a new setting for Morning Prayers, commissioned by the ALCM (Association of Lutheran Church Musicians) Region IV, to be debuted at its conference at Cal Lutheran University in California next summer.
